Stray Light Reducer is an excellent material choice for Stary Light Absorbing.
The light absorbing side is specifically engineered as a light trap surface. It is designed to have almost zero reflectivity at all angles of viewing. It is made from 100% synthetic materials, and is not damaged by normal dew and moisture. It will not shed fibers onto your optical surfaces under normal use.
How it works
Image contrast suffers when stray light reaches the focal plane. Even the best flat black paint reflects about 5% of the light that strikes it, and more when viewed at high angles of incidence.
It absorbs well over 99% of visible light, and is effective at all angles of incidence.
